According to security software vendor Trend Micro, its now the turn of Web mail users at Yahoo and Hotmail to be hit with attacks that were happened earlier this week with Google. In a blog post, published Thursday Trend Micro described about the possibility of two similar attacks against Yahoo Mail and Windows Live Hotmail. The blog post didn’t slip to tell that Facebook accounts have also been used to spread similar attacks that were done.
The online hackers or criminals have been using other attacks too but Google told that it has already fixed the problems. The criminals were having more merits of a flaw in Microsoft’s Windows software to launch politically motivated hacks against activists.
Hackers are creating problems to corporate networks since few years but now they are aiming to move forward to hack personal accounts and they can also close the accounts which will create effect to the worldwide users. They used a little-known Microsoft protocol to find out the type of antivirus virus the users are running. They built up the code than can decode the software and they target to the software’s of security to know they will work or not.
After hacking they post such messages that victim would like that they click to go through that. And they will lose all control on computers and they will be logged on malicious website.
It can be a type of fake email “This is latest version of State’s joint statement. Our understanding is that State put in placeholder econ language and is happy to have us fill in but in their rush to get a cleared version from the WH click down”.
It will be a good thing to all such criminals to get confidential information of human rights activists or they’re government officials.
