Facebook Adds Skype Integration For Video Calling

Facebook reaches the 750 millions registered users and the CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced the Skype integration to the Facebook with more addition updates. Facebook users now make a call to their friend instantly from the profile.

This is an important update on Facebook as the rival Google + hit just a week before. Skype integration to the Facebook adds a call button just beside the current message button, allowing you to video chat with any of your Facebook friends. The Skype Integration is in demo phase.

Another updates includes in the Group Feature, now user can create hoc group by just selecting the friends you want to chat with and adding them to the current chat. If they are offline, they will see the transcript when they come online.

Further more chat feature also has gotten a new sidebar, allowing you to quickly add friends and showing your most popular friends near the top.

  • Then  choose any of online friend to call either from profile page or click video button just above the chat box.

  • A new pop up launch and click on setup up then it will download the facebookvideocallsetup.exe file.

  • Setup the downloaded exe file (This will download the Facebook Video Call Plugin), Install it and get ready to make the first call.
