The most entry level certification exams offered by HP are in the ATA, or Accredited Technical Associate classification. These exams are designed for high school and college students interested in beginning to build their professional credentials even prior to graduation. They are also appropriate certification exams for IT professionals with minimal experience in their field, as they make an excellent foundation from which to build documented expertise.

The primary HP certification exam for cloud associates is the HP4-A04 exam: Designing and Deploying Cloud Solutions. This exam requires candidates to demonstrate their ability to determine the cloud or virtualization requirements of clients and select the appropriate technologies for addressing those concerns.

Planning and designing end-to-end cloud solutions for distinct client needs is also required on the HP4-A04 exam. In addition to these subjects, successful candidates for the HP4-A04 exam will be capable of installing, configuring, upgrading, optimizing, troubleshooting and administering and managing cloud solutions for various enterprise activities.

The HP4-A04 exam is broken into five main sections and the entire exam is presented in multiple choice format. Candidates have just 50 minutes to complete the exam. Exam prep, including hands on labs and training courses, are recommended by HP. Other study resources, like practice exams and tutorials, offered by site like TestsLive.com can be a very beneficial part of a well rounded exam preparation regimen.

Students who earn their ATA in cloud solutions prior to graduate demonstrate they possess the knowledge and skills required for success in a number of professional IT positions, including, but not limited to system and technical support engineering roles, systems and network administrator positions, and helpdesk and field support technician jobs.

Pandora Android app for music streaming service has been updated. The app has received some new features. So, if Pandora is the music streaming service that you use, there may be some treat for you.

With number of updates on enhancements, Pandora Android app, the internet radio has now opted for new User Interface as per the guideline set by Google. And the navigation has been made further easier. The app has further received change in appearance to a white and blue theme. Similarly, you can notice larger album covers and easy reach over playback controls.

Not only design, the new Pandora app for Android has been set with tools now enabling you to rate, review and bookmark the tracks that you had played previously via retooled song history. It’s not just limited here, while playing a particular song, minimizing the album art will let you reveal information of song, lyrics and also the Pandora’s recommendations. Isn’t it cool? So, why don’t you grab it for your Android device if you still don’t have it.

How to update Omega v12 Custom ROM to Galaxy S3 GT I9300? We have prepared step by step tutorial to help you update the firmware.

Before we start the update process, make sure you have rooted the device. You can check whether your phone is rooted or not with the help of “Root Checker”. If your phone is not rooted, you can simply root your device following the steps.

How to Update Galaxy S2 GT I9100 with Official XXLQ5 ICS 4.0.4 Firmware

How to Root Samsung Galaxy S2 GT I9100 on XXLQ5 ICS 4.0.4 Firmware

Important Note: The update is dedicated only for Galaxy S3 GT I9100. Do not try this on any other devices, not even I9100G. You can check the model number of your device following the path “Settings > About Phone”.

So, here is the step by step guide that will get your Galaxy S3 GT I9100 updated.

Step 1: Back up all the data of your phone that you may need later (SMS, Contacts, Call Log, Media files, APN settings)

Step 2: Enable USB Debugging Mode. Follow Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging

Step 3: Download Omega 12 Custom ROM Firmware Package in computer.

Step 4: Get your device connected to computer with the help of USB cable.

Step 5: Copy the downloaded zip file to Galaxy S3 to the location where it will be easy to find.

Step 6: Disconnect and turn off the device. Enter in the Recovery Mode. It can be done by holding the Volume Up button + the Home key button (the middle button). Holding the buttons, turn ON the phone. In recovery mode, select “Wipe data/factory reset” & “Wipe Cache partition”.

Step 7: Select Advanced, clear Dalvik cache.

Step 8: Select Install zip from sd card > Choose zip from internal sd card then choose Omega 12 Custom ROM Firmware Package that you had copied earlier in your device. It may take 4-5 minutes to apply and about additional 5 minutes time to boot the device for startup.

So, here you are. Your device has been updated. For confirmation follow “Settings > About Phone”

Do you own an Android tablet? What do you use it for? Let me guess, definitely to browse web. After all we have desktops and laptop PC to perform other works. But it might wonder you that you can use your Android tablet or smartphone as a Secondary display too. As it is a portable touchscreen device, you might be looking forward to improve productivity during the working hours.

So, in this tutorial basically, I will be letting you know how to use Android tablet or a compatible smartphone as secondary display to your personal computer. Just follow up the steps carefully while you configure your tablet so that you end up exploring something really wonderful rather than damaging your device.

Requirements:

An Android tablet running Android 3.01 or newer

PC running on Windows XP (32-bit) or Windows 7 (32 or 64-bit)

Download PC apps (Air Display, iDisplay, Redfly ScreenSlider) any one, we will be demonstrating with Redfly ScreenSlider. The apps may charge you some amount. Redfly ScreenSlider charges 0.99$.

If you are trying this in a Wi-Fi connection, make sure you connect both PC and tablet in the same network.

Get your tablet working as secondary display in following steps:

Install the app, ScreenSlider that you have downloaded.

Run the app, as it launches it asks to enter a unique name for your tablet.

Enter you desired name and leave the app running. Here you are almost done with your tablet setup.

Get PC connector app. Download from ScreenSlider website.

Install the companion app on your PC with all the default setup options. To confirm the setup, you will notice ScreenSlider icon in the system tray.

Open ScreenSlider PC menu

Click Find Devices link at the top. On doing this, you will see a dialogue box appear and the app will start scanning network for the tablet. If the tablet and PC are on the same network and subnet, and if the ScreenSlider app is running on the tablet, after a few moments the tablet should appear in the list of available devices, with its IP address and the name you entered in step 3.

Double click the tablets entry in the list. On doing this, a pop-up appears on tablets screen asking for a unique PIN. You need to enter that PIN into the connection window on the PC.

Are you done? If yes, click OK.

Here you are, if you have followed these steps correctly then your tablet should now begin working as a secondary display in extended desktop mode.

It has just been over a month that we have received Samsung Galaxy S III. But the device is turning hot each day and has emerged, the hottest Android phone in the market. It won’t be completely wrong calling it as the hottest Android phone among all till the day. And the sales figure and it’s steady rise clearly suggest its state among the customers.

In fact, it was even noticed the manufacturers facing difficulty to supply the device as per the demand. The Galaxy S III started to ship out officially from June 21st and was available in all five major carriers in US territory. Samsung – Apple battle and rivalry is not a new issue. And Galaxy S III certainly seems to be the one that can prove to be the one close to strike iPhone.

As per the analysis of a web advertising network, Chitika, the market response over the Samsung Galaxy S III relative to the other high-end devices from Samsung clearly stated that indices were clearly climbing up for the third generation Galaxy. The study was based upon the mobile ad impressions and the study time frame was for six week. In the time frame of June 18 – August 5, the web traffic from Samsung’s Galaxy S III was increasing rapidly. This was more than sufficient to understand that numbers of Samsung Galaxy S III customers were increasing in massive number.

And as the study concluded, it was found that the Galaxy S III is already representing 11.23% of all Samsung smartphone Web usage. It was also noticed that the phone surpassed Galaxy Nexus figures. But there’s a great challenge ahead for Samsung as long rumored iPhone 5 release date is closing which is likely to effect the sales of S III. However, Galaxy S III which features 1280 X 720 screen resolution, a 2100mAh battery, 2GB RAM has been highly anticipated to beat sales of all the smartphones by the end of 2012.

Playbook lovers, just hold on your seat as there’s a very exciting update for you all. RIM (Research in Motion), the makers of Blackberry have just released the hint that new Playbook will finally be unveiled. The company announced on Thursday that they are going to launch the next version for their Playbook.

The upcoming Playbook will be the first tablet from RIM supporting 4G Technology. And the 4G LTE Playbook that will be coming with 32 GB will only be unveiled in Canada on 9th of August. And the new Playbook won’t be rolling out in other territories like South Africa, United States, Europe, Caribbean and Latin America instantly. So, those who are in these region might have to wait for some months more.

The new Playbook will be sporting 7 inch display, HD video cameras both front and rear facing, HDMI out and stereo speakers. As per the company, in the absence of LTE, the device has been adjusted to automatically connect on HSPA+.

It has been over a year since the company released the their first tablet. And unfortunately, the tablet didn’t turn out to be a hit and couldn’t bring on fortune for the struggling giant mobile makers. But lots of expectations are being made for the upcoming tablet with the rumor mills that have been running over months.

This year, Ontario based mobile device giants – RIM shipped just around 250,000 Playbooks this year in first quarter which is half in numbers as per the numbers of the same period previous year. The company had disclosed the information in their recent quarterly earnings report.

The company is yet to release further information about the new Playbook including price and more specs and new features.

Apple – Samsung battle is no more a new issue. In regular interval of time either of them are noticed filing lawsuit against the other. The latest legal meet among these two giants was regarding iPad infringement. Apple had filed a lawsuit saying that Samsung has copied their tablet.

The judge delivered a decision in quite a fascinating manner. Firstly he declared that, Apple should now run ads supporting that Samsung hadn’t copied their iPad. Well, this could have been the expected one. But as Chris Matyszczyk, Judge Colin Birss really seemed to have character as he followed up with declaration that Samsung couldn’t possibly have copied the iPad because Samsung’s products are simply “not as cool.”

What’s your take in Birss view? Do you really think Samsung is that dumb? Well, no offence to Samsung tab fans, but that’s what Colin Birss suggest. Now, leaving Mr. Birss aside let’s talk about the ads now that Apple has to run on its UK website supporting Samsung didn’t copy iPad. But how are they going to make it?

Chris Matyszczyk has thought to give some help to them. Here are some of his suggestion.

No 1: SAMSUNG DIDN’T COPY THE iPAD BECAUSE THEY’RE JUST NOT COOL ENOUGH

No 2: WE’RE PROUD TO ANNOUNCE iPHONE 5 IS COMING SOON. SAMSUNG COULDN’T COPY THAT ANY BETTER THAN THEY COULD COPY THE iPAD.

No 3: HERE’S TO THE CRAZY ONES WHO THOUGHT THAT SAMSUNG HAD COPIED THE iPAD.

As far as Apple’s rivalry with Samsung is concerned, it will certainly be near to impossible for the Cupertino giants to apologize. Adopting some similar ads as suggested by Mr. Matyszczyk might make the work done for Apple.

via cnet
