Apple’s 2011 App of year winner application Instagram finally makes its way through Google Android after 18 months of waiting. The Instagram is going to hit 40,000 download in Google play store since it launch.
Instagram is beautiful and free photo sharing application which also includes social networking. The application became a big hit for iPhone and iPad. Since its first launch for iOS, Android users were waiting for it to launch of Android version.
Instagram supports Android 2.2 or higher is available to download brand new Google Play Store. Instagram’s said in their blog:
“We’ve been meticulous about translating the Instagram experience to the Android platform,….. The Android app offers an extremely familiar Instagram experience when compared to the iOS app. You’ll find all the same exact filters and community as our iOS version.”
Instagram has exploded in popularity since Apple honored it as its 2011 App of the Year. The app now has more than 30 million users, up from 15 million four months ago.
