Xbox fans using Android smartphone can now compete with their fellow gamers holding iPhone and Windows Phone device as Microsoft has launched the Xbox Live app for Android OS.
The Xbox Live app for Android is available in Google Play store and required Xbox Live account and Android smartphone with Android 2.2 or higher plus WGVA screen resolution or higher.

As per the article in PC world, the Xbox Live app for Android is not as polished as the Apple’s iOS and Microsoft’s Windows Phone. However the app the is in early period, Microsoft will definitely work hard to make it more friendly to the users.
At a same time, Microsoft has also released an XBox Live app update for iOS, which lets them catch up with Windows Phone users as far as letting them use the app to search and control content from their devices.
