It has not been very long since Tegra 3 is launched but we may see the new Tegra 4 soon. As reports say new Tegra 4 will hit the tablets later this year. The leaked roadmap suggests Tegra 4 is in line to boost the tablets with quadcore A15 chips.
The current Tegra 3 has some issues with LTE functionality. Nvidia calls its quad-core Tegra 4-Plus-1 because there’s a fifth battery-life-friendly core for less-demanding tasks. The picture shows the first quarter of 2013 will see 10 inch tablets having 1.8 GHz quad-core processors. Similarly in third quarter of 2013 7 inch tablets will be powered by 2 GHz NVIDIA 4 plus 1 having A9 chips.
