Opera has released a new version of mobile browser which they call Opera Mini 7. The new version of Opera Mini is not targeted to high end Android or iOS powered smartphones but for the low end basic smartphones. So if you have such phones then that’s good news for you.
Opera Mini 7 offers you the smart page for Facebook and other websites. The smart page is built inside the browser and gives you a whole new experience. smart page also includes suggested news sites and can be customised to add other feeds. That means the time you spent typing the website address is chopped down. Opera Mini 7 is available for Java-compatible (J2ME), S60 and BlackBerry featured phones. With the smart Page features you are offered :
- links to a user’s most-visited sites
- links to relevant content based on your browsing history
Lars Boilesen, CEO, Opera Software says, “With Smart Page, you just open the browser, and the content is right beside your Speed Dial shortcuts in the start screen for you to skim through — super practical, super time-saving and super smart. I guess that’s why the product team called it Smart Page.”
