The internet users are much worried about the big business they are engaged in. Around 38 percent of internet business personal worry about the government checking about their business, half of Internet-connected Americans are of age 16 whereas older worry about businesses checking what they do online. These concerns are really not stopping smattering of other activities like social networking internet for shopping and many more.
According to the data collected by Center for the Digital Future, University of Southern California 82% of Americans use the internet. This amount is same as in year year 2009. Among which 79% of the of people spend more than 18 hours in a week for browsing web. 47% of them use it for banking and 46% use for video sharing and social networking. Jeffrey Cole who is the director of the USC Annenberg Center for the Digital Future the internet were totally based in PCs and they used to compare it with television, this is the fact before 11 years. He added that now PCs are just used by designers heavy writers and editors. As people use cell phone for internet PCs are slowly going away.
According to the survey conducted from April 27 to Aug 30, 2010 7% of the people claim cost as the reason for not using internet. 1/4th of people show the reason that they don’t find internet useful or interesting whereas 37% of people don’t have a computer for internet connection. This is the data collected from 18% of Americans who don’t use internet. Cloth and travels are followed by books and gift for about 68% of adult people who go for online shopping. 98 percent of Internet users under 17 use email, compared with 95 percent of those aged 18 to 24,94 percent of age 45 to 54 also use email. Among 2,277 adults and had a margin of error of plus or minus 3.7 percentage points. The Pew survey was conducted April 26 to May 22.
