Update XXLRK, Official Firmware For ICS 4.0.4 On Galaxy Note N7000, Guide [How To, Tutorial]

Great news for Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 owners. You can now update XXLRK ICS 4.04 on your device. With the release of the official upgrade, the latest version for the firmware promises to make your device bug free. Well, Jellybean 4.1 is certainly knocking on the door but we cannot just keep ICS away from the sight and releasing the new version for the firmware is certainly a customer oriented decision by the company.

So, How To Update XXLRK, Official Firmware For ICS 4.0.4 On Galaxy Note N7000?. Here’s step-by-step guide that will help you get your firmware updated very easily. Just follow up the tutorial carefully to make sure that you don’t damage your device.

Step 1: Make sure, you have backed up all your important data like (SMS, Contacts, Call Log, Images, Videos, Songs, Wifi Settings and Passwords).

Step 2: Download Galaxy Note drivers  32 bit (x86) Windows  |   64-bit (x64) Windows

Step 3: Charge your phone, make sure the battery charge is at least 50% remaining to ensure no turn off during the update process.

Step4: If you have installed any sort of security suites in your phone, then disable all of them.

Step 5: Get Galaxy Note N7000 XXLRK ICS 4.0.4 Firmware Package. Do you have Odin in your computer. If no, get Odin too.

Step 6: Run Odin and turn off the phone to enter in the download mode.

Step 7: To enter download mode press Volume Down + Ok button. Holding both, press the power button simultaneously. A warning message will appear and further press the Volume Up key to continue entering the Download Mode.

Step 8: Connect Galaxy Note to PC with the original USB cable keeping Odin running. After connection, you will notice a change in color of the ID : COM block to yellow. This is confirmation for successful installation of the drivers.

Step 11: As you enter Recovery Mode, select Wipe data/factory reset and Wipe Cache partition. Then reboot Galaxy Note which can be done by selecting reboot system now with the help of Volume rocker keys.
